Emotional Abstraction & Systemic Resilience
The Story
I was born in Kashan, near Iran’s central desert, a landscape that deeply shaped my earliest understandings of environmental scale, geographic isolation, and rigid systemic structures. Growing up within a highly restrictive sociopolitical and religious environment directly catalyzed my perspective on human identity and resilience.
Relocating to Italy initiated a profound transformation in my relationship to physical and cultural spaces. This migration established an ongoing internal dialogue between my Persian heritage, the realities of environmental adaptation, and the shifting nuances of navigating the world as a non-binary individual.
The Mission
As a self-taught visual artist with an academic background holding a Master’s degree in Environmental Economics, my creative practice exists at the distinct intersection of emotional abstraction and systematic observation. Rather than relying on traditional academic art training, I have formed my methodology through dedicated research, historical study, and rigorous physical experimentation with mediums.
I treat the canvas as a shifting landscape. My work maps the friction points between human mobility, rigid geopolitical boundaries, and ecological resilience. Whether manipulating the deliberate fluidity of watercolors or challenging myself through the malleable, layered applications of oil and enamel, art serves as an essential, non-negotiable mechanism to process trauma, question structural authority, and extract emotional truth
